Additional Information
Birch Plywood Grading of Faces
Presently, front face is a B Grade that allows for occasional pin or single knot and slight deviation in wood grain. Closed cracks or splits up to a 2 per 1 meter width are allowed, but rarely seen in the B grade.
The back face is a BB Grade that allows for small, matching color patches (football patch) in uniform white, one-piece face veneer. This grade also allows for pin knots or tight knots. Tight cracks are allowed up to 2 per 1 Meter of plywood. Could have slight mineral streaking or discoloration on face. (Grading based on International Standard GOST 3916.1-96)
