Cabot® Semi-Transparent Deck & Siding Stain is a lightly pigmented oil base stain that lets the natural grain, texture and coloring of wood show. This is a deep-penetrating oil base stain that will repeal water and resist fading. This stain is recommended for use on exterior wood decks, fences, and siding. However, roofs, shakes, and shingles can be stained with this product as well.

Coverage for this stain will depend on surface conditions; rough surfaces, 200 to 300 square feet per gallon and smooth surfaces, 450 to 650 square feet per gallon. This stain can be tinted to 100 different colors as long as the tint contains 12 ounces or less of tint per gallon. A one coat application is recommended. The appearance of stain will vary depending on wood coloring and wood surface condition. Clean up with mineral spirits.
