Afrormosia, grown in West Africa, is often referred to as a Teak substitute with its rich color and similar grain to teak. Â The color can vary from medium brown to brownish -yellow and orange hues. Â Afromosia is a very hard, dense and insect resistant wood. It is used for cabinetmaking, boat building, flooring and stairs.
