Cherry Plywood
Cherry hardwood cabinet-grade plywood features a high-quality cherry veneer top layer, renowned for its rich, warm color and smooth grain. Carefully selected for cabinetry and fine furniture, it offers durability, stability, and an attractive appearance. The “cabinet grade” ensures minimal defects, a smooth surface suitable for finishing, and consistent veneer quality, making it ideal for visible, high-end woodworking projects.
This domestic cherry plywood is characterized by its deep reddish-brown hue and elegant grain patterns. It is strong, stable, easy to work with, and responds well to staining and finishing, which enhances its natural beauty. As a cost-effective alternative to solid cherry wood, it is widely used in furniture making, interior paneling, cabinetry, and decorative veneer applications.
Stocked in ¼”, ½”, and ¾” thicknesses, cherry plywood is a versatile, decorative, and durable choice for both residential and commercial projects, combining aesthetic appeal with practical performance.

GRADES OF PLYWOOD:
- 1/4” plywood, graded B4, features good quality on at least one side. This surface is typically smooth and visually appealing, making it suitable for visible applications such as cabinetry and furniture. The reverse side may have minor imperfections or defects, but of the same coloring and the overall panel remains strong and durable. B4 grade plywood offers a balanced combination of quality and affordability, ideal for decorative and interior use where one side will be exposed.
- 1/2” and 3/4” plywood is a B2 Grade. A high-quality, cost-effective option ideal for cabinetry and interior applications. It features a smooth face veneer with minimal surface defects, suitable for visible surfaces on both sides. The “B” grade front side indicates a face veneer with tight, even grain and minor repairs or patches, ensuring an attractive appearance. The “2” grade on the back veneer allows for minor defects such as a pin knot or small patch while maintaining overall strength and durability. This combination makes B2 plywood an excellent choice for cabinet doors and interior furnishings where both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity are important.
