6×6 Marine Grade Treated Timbers (Ground Contact or Fresh Water Use)
Our 6×6 Marine Grade Treated Timbers are a #1 grade and below-ground Wolmanized® CCA-Treated for fresh-water marine exposure.  The #1 allows for knots, wane and other imperfections.  Available in 8′, 10′, 12′ and 16′ lengths.  Timbers are surfaced on all sides.  Actual timber dimension is 5-1/2″ thick by 5-1/2″ wide.  This timber is often used for structural supports, swing-sets, decks, fences and arbors. (note: not recommended for salt water applications. Typical retention level for salt water exposure is 2.5 CCA. Special order upon request)
Additional Information
These boards are below-ground treated with a .80 retention level in CCA formula. This higher treatment level allows these timbers to be exposed to fresh-water marine environments.
This timber arrives wet and will air-dry over time. Surface checking(small cracks) may develop as the product fully dries out and does not impact structural integrity.
