Black coal slag abrasive that has low moisture content and fast cutting due to sharp angular edges. Coal slag is harder than regular silica sand, longer lasting and keeps the dust at a lower level while blasting.
Coal slag, available in medium/course and fine sizes, is very angular and contains less than 1% free silica. Sold in 100 lb. bags.

12/40 Medium Coarse grit: Used for tough blasting jobs, heavy rust, thick coating, mastics, tank lining, ships, barges, and concrete.
20/40 Fine Coarse grit: Used for general purpose repair and maintenance blasting, general purpose paint and rust removal, structural steel, and mill scale.
Use this product in conjunction with apparatus approved and maintained to OSHA standards and applicable regulations.
