Cabot Solid Acrylic Stain (800 Series)

Cabot Solid Acrylic Stain contains maximum pigment for more UV coverage than the semi-solid stain.  This stain is 100% acrylic and water-repellent.  This product is formulated for lower temperature application.  Apply to new or recondition wood siding.  Consider applying to cement or hardboard siding, aluminum, MDO, masonry, stucco, and plywood-panel siding as well.  This stain is not recommended for use on decks.

Coverage for this stain will depend on surface conditions; rough surfaces, 200 to 300 square feet per gallon and smooth surfaces, 300 to 400 square feet per gallon.  This stain can be tinted to 100 different colors as long as the tint contains 12 ounces or less of tint per gallon.  A one coat application is recommended. Color choice will determine which base is needed.  Clean up with soap and water.  Ultra White (0812) is not able to be tinted.
