Ipe is an exotic hardwood from South America. As one of the densest hardwoods, IPE is ideal for decks and outside projects. The wood has a warm, rich color of golden brown to dark brownish red. IPE is eco-friendly and resistant to mold, fire, weather and pests. Due to its beautiful color, it is often used interior as well as exterior.
Our Ipe Hardwood 2×4’s are surfaced on all four sides and square edged. Â Actual size is 1-1/2″ x 3-1/2″.
