Mahogany Hardwood S2S1E

Mahogany comes from central and northern South America or tropical Africa areas. When cut, the color ranges from yellowish pink to salmon pink. As it matures, it darkens to a deep red or brown. The grains can be straight, curly or wavy. It is used for furniture, cabinet making, musical instruments and boat building.

Mahogany S2S1E hardwood has been surface planned to a unique thickness and one side is trued and square.   The other edge is left rough and therefore; there can be up to a 1″ variance in the width of the board. Available in 4/4 or 8/4 thickness, 3″ to 5″ wide, and 3′ to 5′ long.
