Treated CDX Plywood
Elevate your construction and DIY projects with our Culpepper Wood Preserves Durapine treated plywood. This premium exterior plywood features a robust non-arsenic treatment using dispersed copper azole, providing effective resistance against termites and fungal decay. Specifically designed with a ground contact treatment, this plywood is reliable for applications in harsher weather.
Each sheet is meticulously kiln-dried to achieve a moisture content of 19% or below, ensuring exceptional stability for your applications. Graded CDX, this utility-grade plywood is suitable for various uses, including sub flooring, wall and roof sheathing, concrete forming, pallets, shed flooring, and industrial containers. Being kiln-dried after treatment allows for immediate painting or staining without the need for lengthy drying times. Note that as a sheathing grade product, it will exhibit knots and blemishes on both faces.
Available in full 4×8 sheets and sold individually or by the unit, this plywood is an ideal choice for builders and craftsmen seeking durability and reliability in their materials.

To enhance the plywood’s durability and prevent splitting, consider applying a quality exterior top coat. Recommended options include:
- Exterior Acrylic Latex Paint: Provides excellent moisture resistance and UV protection, ideal for painted finishes.
- Exterior Oil-Based Sealants: Offers superior protection against water infiltration and enhances the natural beauty of the wood grain.
- Water Repellent Preservatives: These products repel moisture and protect against decay while allowing the wood to breathe.
Polyurethane Coatings: For additional durability, a tough polyurethane finish can shield the surface from scratches and harsh weather conditions.
