GRADING OF FACES:

TEMPORARY GRADE CHANGE:  Please NOTE, due to the shortage of Baltic Birch, the grade on our Baltic Birch may be a II/III or a I/II.  We anticipate this being a temporary change. We anticipate the change in grade to be temporary.

A front face Grade II allows for small, matching color patches (football patch) in uniform white, one piece face veneer.  This grade also allows for  pin knots or tight knots.  Tight cracks are allowed up to 2 per 1 M of plywood.  Could have slight mineral streaking on face.  (Grading based on International Standard GOST 3916.1-96)

Back face Grade III allows for matching color patches in uniform white, knots up to 6mm diameter, mineral streaking and cracks filled with putty.
